I’ve been been a photographer for years, and had a lot of experience with a lots of equipment. It was a long road for me to learn what I know now. It has become a recent passion of mine to pass this knowledge to other photographers. I’ve started to develop classes to educate you on the photography topics that I know and love. It is my goal to make sure you leave the class feeling confident in the material you have been taught. So sign-up knowing that you will take away much knowledge from the classes & workshops.

“Get to know your SLR”
This class is geared to all SLR users. Even if you have used an SLR for a while, there may be aspects of the camera that you do not normally use. The class covers almost all aspects of both Digital and Film SLR’s, and helps explain all of the knobs, buttons, and features of your camera. Beyond that, we will cover info on lenses, file types, sensor types, types of SLRs, and more! Understanding your equipment can help give you the technical knowledge you want to guide you in your quest of becoming a better photographer.

“Basic Lighting”
This class is designed as an introduction to lighting concepts for off camera lighting. We will cover the basics of how lighting works with both continuous light and strobes. The goal is to make you comfortable with using various types of lighting so that you can stretch your creative eyes.

Just so you know:
Of course most of you know by now that I am a Nikon shooter, so people with Nikon gear will get the most out of my camera demos. But this doesn’t mean that you can not learn from the classes if you shoot with another brand.
Unless specifically stated, classes about technique will not be brand specific.
