Class Info:
This class is geared to all SLR users. Even if you have used an SLR for a while, there may be aspects of the camera that you do not normally use. The class covers almost all aspects of both Digital and Film SLR’s, and helps explain all of the knobs, buttons, and features of your camera. Beyond that, we will cover info on lenses, file types, sensor types, types of SLRs, and more! Understanding your equipment can help give you the technical knowledge you want to guide you in your quest of becoming a better photographer. Here are some of the topics we will cover in the class.

- Differences in Auto, P, S, A, & M
- ISO
- Metering
- White Balance
- Types of film
- Digital File Types & Settings
- Flash settings & Adjustments
- Various Compensation Dials
- Different AF modes & Settings
- Auto ISO
There are no special requirements to attend this class. You do not even need an SLR to attend and learn, however owning and bring your SLR to the class is encouraged.
